ThreadReady Terms of Use

1.Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ThreadReady, you agree to these Terms of Use (the “Terms”) and to the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use ThreadReady.

2.Ownership

ThreadReady — including its source code, user interface, visual design, copy, workflows, artwork-processing implementations, mockup assets, and other original content — is owned by or licensed to JakThread and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of ThreadReady or any of its underlying content to you.

This section does not claim ownership over general ideas, ordinary or industry-standard techniques, or your own artwork.

3.Limited Permission to Use

JakThread grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to use ThreadReady solely to prepare your own artwork, or artwork you are properly authorized to use, for legitimate printing and mockup purposes. This permission does not transfer any ownership interest in ThreadReady or its underlying code, and may be revoked at any time.

4.Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• copy or clone ThreadReady;
• reproduce or republish its source code;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract its proprietary implementations, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• create a competing or derivative service substantially based on ThreadReady’s protected code or interface;
• resell, sublicense, rent, white-label, or otherwise commercially redistribute the utility;
• scrape ThreadReady or use automated systems for bulk access;
• bypass usage, access, or security controls;
• remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices;
• use ThreadReady to infringe another party’s copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights; or
• upload malicious files or otherwise attempt to interfere with the service.

5.Customer Artwork

You retain ownership of your artwork. You represent that you own, or have permission to use, any artwork you upload. By using ThreadReady, you grant JakThread only the limited permission necessary to process and display your artwork through ThreadReady. Merely using ThreadReady does not transfer ownership of your artwork to JakThread.

6.Where Your Artwork Is Processed

Artwork is processed in your own browser, with one exception: if it is lower resolution than your chosen print size needs, ThreadReady offers to enlarge and clean it up using a service JakThread runs on its own Google Cloud account. No other company receives or processes your artwork. ThreadReady asks your permission once, the first time you use it, and that one agreement covers enlarging and cleanup from then on — it is not asked again for each file. You can withdraw it at any time with the “Withdraw” link at the top of the page. Withdrawing takes effect immediately. The Privacy Notice describes what is sent.

Downloaded PNGs, proof sheets, and submission packages are generated in your browser. The name, email address, and notes you enter are written into the summary file on your own device. Sending your job to JakThread is a separate step you take yourself, such as emailing the downloaded files.

We do not promise that browser caches, downloaded files, or third-party platforms can never retain a copy of that data.

7.Analytics

ThreadReady uses privacy-limited analytics to understand general usage, device type, approximate region, and which utility actions are used. ThreadReady’s analytics are designed not to send artwork contents, filenames, customer names, email addresses, or job notes. See the Privacy Notice for details.

8.Printing and Output Disclaimer

Previews, cleanup, halftones, knockouts, dimensions, and mockups produced by ThreadReady are production aids and estimates, not guarantees. You remain responsible for inspecting your final artwork, confirming dimensions, confirming placement, testing print compatibility, and verifying your rights to the artwork. JakThread does not guarantee identical results across every printer, ink, film, garment, RIP, press, or production environment.

9.Availability and Changes

JakThread may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue ThreadReady, in whole or in part, at any time, and may update these Terms from time to time.

10.Disclaimer of Warranties

ThreadReady is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

11.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JakThread is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of ThreadReady, including lost artwork, production errors, missed deadlines, or lost profits.

12.Termination

JakThread may restrict or terminate your access to ThreadReady if you violate these Terms.

13.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not otherwise resolved will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Knox County, Tennessee, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
